An hour meter is a function PLC that records the number of hours an engine or electrically operated equipment, has an internal timer, the same that will increase according to the input signal “state” which indicates whether the equipment is in operation or not.
It incorporates all programming PLC, a miner, logical process that records the operating hours of each motor or production process equipment, allowing to balance the hours of team work and preventive maintenances.
Programming is developed through the Add-On, a feature of most powerful RSLogix5000 programming instruction, this allows you to define a statement that contains a function or algorithm commonly used (set of instructions) and use it as an instruction from ladder.
